"From the Top," National Public Radio's popular program featuring young classical musicians, will be taped at CCM for national broadcast. Performing will be CCM's Starling Chamber Orchestra led by conductor Kurt Sassmanshaus and past and present members of the orchestra in observance of the orchestra's 25th anniversary. Tessa Lark, 24, and Jonathan Miron, both Starling alumni(ae) will perform "Romance" by Joseph Hellmesberger, with "From the Top" alumnus Charles Yang. Also featured on the show will be pianist Yilun Xu from New York City and Avery Roth-Hawthorne, a French hornist from Oakland, California.
